Good story .. Touching Heart
An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.
The Father asked his Son, “What is this?â€
The Son replied “It is a crowâ€.
After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, “What is this?â€
The Son said “Father, I have just now told you “It’s a crowâ€.
After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time,
What is this?â€
At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the Son’s tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. “It’s a crow, a crowâ€.
A little after, the Father again asked his Son t he 4th time, “What is this?â€
This time the Son shouted at his Father, “Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times ‘IT IS A CROW’. Are you not able to understand this?â€
A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-
“Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time h e asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent childâ€.
While the little child asked him 23 times “What is thisâ€, the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.
So..
If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Be considerate to your parents. From today say this aloud, “I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me.
They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in the society todayâ€.
Say a prayer to God, “I will serve my old parents in the BEST way. I will say all good and kind words to my dear parents, no matter how they behave.
Thanks for spending ur time on reading this story…… Hope U r forwarding this to all ur friends…

we should act upon the advise of our elders. We should care them when they are in old age and can’t do better, you should serve/care them as they served/cared you when you was a child.

Excellent article.
I also want to share something about relations.
Sab rishte humein chhod gaye,
kuch rishton ko humne chhod diya,
Sab kuch saha chup reh kar,
Na jaane kab humne jeena chhod diya
Humne har rishte ko dil ki gehrayion se chaha tha,
Phir na jaane kahaan bhul hui ki har rishte ne moonh mod liya,
Jo rishte bache unka pichha humne chhod diya,
Jindgi ki raah mein humne rishte banaana chhod diya
Kya rishte hi banate hain jeene ka maksad,
Agar haan to humne yeh maksad hi chhod diya,
Jab tak jinda hain muskurainge,
Kyunki ab is dil ne gam karna hi chhod diya.
Yeh hamari jindgi ne humein kahaan la ke chhod diya,
Thanks.

A person who can’t respect and love his / her parents will face the same in their life , when they become parents. Because children learn everything from parents.

Hello
It brings tears in my eyes. I love my parents they are greater than god. Because God sent us on earth but they parents who cares and teach us to walk, eat, talk etc.
We have to say that people who do not take care of there parents they are really missing a great opportunity in there lives, and it is really a big unfortunate for them. Remember tommorrow we also going to be old.
Its a great worship of god through parents.
So please promise everybody to take care of our parents as they did with us when we were nothing.
May god bless us all.
August 10th, 2007 at 9:46 am
this is an excellent story…its practical, but still nobody understand……. everybody should act like a LOVER rather than a DICTATOR for their FAMILY ,as FAMILY stands for (Father And Mother I Love You)….
August 13th, 2007 at 10:00 am

Dear All,
This story is nothing if you really feel love for your parents from your heart many such stories can be written and read, but in real you will be proved “THE BEST” only when you give all your love to your parents. Parents gave us life they have the right to take our lifes but they put themselves in front when real death arrives such great is there love, so I request all the sons and daughters to respect your parents, give them your love, treat them like babies, never shout at them , if they have punished us for something they have a reason for it ,never take your parents words in a negative way.
Hope my feelings would change atleast one daughter or son and shower their love on their parents
August 30th, 2007 at 5:08 am
Really this is a great emotion and Moral for everyone who really respect his/her parents. Everyone should know that this time if i am a child after some years will be old man/woman. So same condition will come.
Continue like these morals.
Thanks

September 14th, 2007 at 10:16 am
THIS IS A WRONG COMPARISON BETWEEN SON AND FATHER BECAUSE WHEN FATHER REPLY 23 TIMES TO HIS SON WHEN HIS MIND WAS MATURE AND CHILD MIND IS ONLY CHILDHOOD MIND,BUT THE SAME QUESTION ASK FATHER TO HIS SON THEN BOTH ARE HAVE MATURE MIND,BUT FATHER HAVE LITTLE DIFRENCE MIND BUT CAN UNDERSTAND WHEN WE TOLD HIM ONE OR MORE TIME SO THIS IS WRONG COMPARISON
September 16th, 2007 at 11:35 am
hey thatttttttssssss a g88888ttttttttttt…………..
story………..
i think the same is happening with many of the parents………..
after reading the story may be many of then will get respect………………
i thanks for the writer of the story………
thats a g8t poem……
i congrates him on his g8t words and thoughts….
i already forwerded this story to about my 50-60 friends………..
September 19th, 2007 at 10:48 pm
Wat crap logic : when the son asked 23 times : he was a child -he ACTUALLY and truly didnt know and such innocence CAN be expected from a child…thats why the father answered him 23 times…
but the father asked a silly question 4 times at an age when he is mentally mature…thats why the son got angry…
I strongly believe that it is extremely important to love and respect your parents ….but this story does not teach this….the story and its logic is something like “the cat is mewing …so it will rain tonight” kind of logic…..
Please do not take offence. I merely wanted to bring out the logical inappropriateness.
September 21st, 2007 at 12:36 pm
This story shows the love, affection and the care they showed while we were young. Time may pass on but their love wil never change, It remains the same. A wonderfly moral at the end which tells us to serve our parents. They mean a lot to us..
September 26th, 2007 at 10:30 pm

Yes i really liked the story, there is a very good message for everyone mostly the youngsters.
we should never forget our parents, they are everything to us. if we hurt them we should also note that we will also become parents one day.

Akele the hum jaha mile the hum dono ek sath….
Dard ke is ghane badal me pakra tha tumne mera hath…
Socha bahut par suljha na saka is jado vare milan ko…
Kya yeh wahi pyar hein jo sath rahegi muskilo mein pakre mere hato ko…
Woh dard bhari raat aur uska sath bus gaya he mere dil-o-dimag me….
Sayad yeh uske pyar ka nasa he jo sath he hamesha mere nas nas me..
Yaad atte he woh pal jab rakha tha maine apna hath uske dono galo par..
Chum liya tha usne mere hato ko apna dil-e-gilfam banakar…
Chum liya maine uske hoto ko jadu-ke-chappi dekar…
Bana liya gamo ko hamne apna yaar fir se naye duniya basakar.

Wo humse kuch khafa- khafa sa kyun hai
har shai to wo hi hai par wo juda -juda sa kyun hai
jate huye is shahar se wo kah gaya tha
laut aaunga ek din
par jab wo lauta to khoya khoya sa kyun hai
ab use yaad nahi rahi gaon ki galiyan
jahan bachpab bitaye the
kadi dhoop me bhi chat pe hans ke gujare the
jo dhoop kal chubhti nahi thi use
aaj wohi chanh me bhi jala -jala sa kyun hai
wo humse kuch kafa - kafa sa kyun hai
wo shaam dhalte hi chatth pe jana
wo chand wo taron ko niharna
meri har baaton ko bina samajhe hi sunna
meri hansi pe hansa
aur meri khilkhilahaton pe niharna aadat thi jiski
aaj wohi har baat pe kafa - kafa sa kyun hai
koi baat to jaroor hogi
uske mann me
warna wo aaj aisa kyun hai ?

Najayas akhe aj dekh rahi hai tumko,
Hosh uranewali hai tumhare rahe,
Tumhe chum gaya hai aj meri jindegi,
Pagal kar gayi hai tumhare adaye
Nind se jagu to tum dikhti ho,
Aur nind me bhi tum,
Tumhare bina aj meri jindegi,
Asma se ucha aur jamin se kam
Aisi ek more pey khari hai jindegi meri,
Kehni thi tumhe aj ek baat,
Tumhare soch mey kho ja kar,
Gujar gaya hai aj kal parsu aur na jane kitne sari raat

Us Key Bin Chup Chup Rehna Ab Acha Lagta Hay
Khamooshi Say Ek Dard Ko Sehna Acha Lagta Hay
Us Ka Milna Na Milna Qismat Ki Baat Hay
Pal Pal Us Ki Yaad May Roona Acha Lagta Hay
Us Key Bina Sari Khushyaan Aajab lagti Hain
Roo Roo Kar Us Ki Yaad May Soona Acha Lagta Hay

Zindagi mein naye log hardum milenge..Kaheen jyada to kaheen kam milenge..Aitbaar zara soch kar karna..Mumkin nahin har jagah tumhein ‘HUM’ milenge..!!!
rat hogi to chand bhi duhai dega..khwabo me tumhe wo chehra dikhai dega..ye mohabbat he zara soch ke karna..aansu bhi gira to sunai degaa..!!!
Har waqt phool bankar muskurana jindagi hai..Muskurakar gam bhulana jindagi hai..Jeet kar muskuraye to kya muskuraye..Haar kar muskurana Jindagi hai..!!!
apni zindagi mein hamein shareek samajhna..kabhi koi gham aaye..to kareeb samajhna..de denge muskurahat aasuon ke badle mein..hazaro dosto me magar..thoda azeez samajhna..!!!
Raaz dil ka dil mein chupate hai woh..Samne aate hi nazar jhukate hai woh..Baat karte nahi, ya hoti nahi..Par shukar hai jab bhi milte hai muskurate hai woh..!!!
tasveer banati rehti hu mein juti huyi aawazo par..ek chehra dhoondti rehti hu deewaro kabhi darwazo par..mein apne paas nahi rehti aur door se koi bulata hai..ye rishta kya kehlata hai..??

I believe if God really exist, it is your parents there is no way you can repay them.We should not forget that whatever we are today its because of them only I would only say that they were with you when you needed them most so why you are leaving them solitude when they need you most. Its good to love your wife but remember one thing don’t leave your parents for your wife
October 31st, 2007 at 4:02 am

November 25th, 2008 at 12:18 pm
an awesome story…………..
now a days younger generations shud hav this type of feeling towards their parents. all children and adults shud respect their parents……so that they shoul feel proud of their child. parents r very precious gift given to child by god. they r the only one who gives us chance to com in this beautiful world……..
SO ALL MY FRENDS ARE REQUESTED TO PLZZ RESPECT UR PARENTS AND TAKE PROPER CARE OF THEM.
December 8th, 2008 at 6:24 pm
Parents are our assets not liability……their feelings should be respected and the love of parents can be truely understood when one be father or mother of any baby. When a baby borns, he/she brings love, affection, expectations and so many good things along with him/her……….but baby when grows up, they fail to understand thier feelins. This is what happening in this real world. Thus lets start to love n serve them
December 26th, 2008 at 8:42 pm

Really it is a heart touching story.
And as great the story is ,moral is too.
The importance and significance of our parents in our life is that much and cant be explained so respect them and never let them alone.
February 2nd, 2009 at 3:50 am
This story is awesome.I should say this story should b read b youngsters n they should respect their parents.
February 3rd, 2009 at 3:04 am
Really its a good message , but the difference has to understand by us, when the son was too littlt just about three year old , such kind of questions was possible by him because he was not mature enough to undestand the meaning of the crow that y he was asking for so many times , but here the father is too mature than his son , and such types of questions arte not expected by his son manytimes…
February 4th, 2009 at 2:12 pm
hi,
it was really a heart touching story i was very much impressed
by this story. There is no thing about maturity, b’coz old age is second childhood so the youngsers should know how to be affectionate and respectful towards their parents.
